When a child is exposed to verbal and physical aggression between parents, it may permanently hurt a child’s ability to identify and control emotions, says a new study. Do you often fight with your spouse? If so, do you do it in front of your kid?
What impact does parental fighting have on kids? C. Cybele Raver, a professor of Applied Psychology at NYU said “Our study points to ways in which aggression between parents may powerfully shape children’s emotional adjustment.”
